The Truth About Making Money Online

Making money online can be scary and hard but the rewards are astronomical. Building your business online means that you are your own boss, you have control over your paycheck, and control over how much work you do. You are truly accountable for you actions. If you don’t succeed, it’s your fault. If you do succeed, that is also your doing.

One of the biggest downsides of owning your own business is that it is truly up to you to keep yourself motivated. You will not have someone standing over you telling you that that article or campaign has to be done now instead of later.

If you are the master of procrastination then having an Internet business is going to be very hard for you to do. That will leave you with two options: Either you can change your ways, keep yourself motivated, and take action or you can walk away from one of the greatest opportunity’s of your life time.

In order to make money online you need to view it as a business, Your Business. If you are not going to take it seriously and put forth the work it takes to run your business then you are wasting your time.

We’ve all gotten the hundreds of emails from the make money online Gurus. You know the ones, the must read now because the greatest system ever to be invented has just come out and if you don’t open this email right now you might as well give up. The system will have you making a thousand dollars a day within the next week. .

Here’s the thing, if you are being told that you will be making mass amounts of money in a very short time, if you buy this product we guarantee that you will be making money with very little work, or that the system is so easy that anyone can make money with it…Run!

Stop buying every new product that comes out. Even knowing that I was probably wasting my money I had a hard time breaking the habit of buying the latest product. It was the what if syndrom. What if this is the system that will allow me to quit my day job. Buying every product the Gurus tell you to will not make you money online. the only one who makes money from that is the Gurus.

Making money online is not easy, It Takes Work! That is not saying that you will always have to work hard to make money online but when you are first starting out you most likely will not have a ton of money to hire out all of the work. Even if you do have the money the only way you can get the knowledge you need to be successful is by doing it yourself. Once you know what works for you and you are making money then (and only then) should you start to hire out your work.

There is no cheating when you are building your online business. It takes time to learn the skills you need so you can duplicate your successful campaigns. For some people it might only take two months to learn and make money, for others it might take two years. Regardless of how long it takes you to learn the essentials, if you are willing to work hard and learn, you can have the freedom of owning your own business and not having to worry about money.

I am not an Internet marketing Guru nor do I want to be. I am a regular person who has spent a lot of money of the newest products that have gotten me nowhere (except a full hard-drive). Throughout my learning process I have found three seperate tools that have been invaluable to me.

The first is One Week Marketing by Pot Pie Girl. This system is truly amazing. Jennifer Ledbetter ( Potpiegirl) has a unique system that uses only free methods to start earning money online. Her system uses Squidoo as the base site you work off of. She walks you step by step through the process of setting up your lense, getting it indexed in Google, and getting organic (free) traffic to your lense’s.

What is truly awesome about One Week Marketing (other then the system itself) is that she actually walked Nick (a coworker) through the system step by step and turned it into an ebook. The reason that this is so invaluable is because he had no idea what he was doing so as you can imagine, he asked a lot of questions and as you can imagine, the questions he asked are probably the same one’s you will have.

The second invaluable tool is the Unique Article Wizard. The Unique Article Wizard is an article submission tool and it truly is unique. They have over 7000 directories they can submit to and with each article submission they submit a unique article. The process they use is not keyword spinning which is good because keyword spinning often times leaves your article choppy and awkward.

What’s also nice about the Unique Article Wizard is that they have a monthly membership fee and you can submit as many article as you want to. With the amount of articles I submit it would cost me hundreds of dollars to do so with another program. I use the Unique Article Wizard to completely dominate my keywords in Google.

The Third invaluable tool is Wealthy Affiliate. Wealthy Affiliate is an online community of Internet Marketers. The forum is invaluable because it allows you to interact with marketers that are more knowledgeable and further along in their career then you are. As they say, if you want to succeed then you’d better hang out with people who are more successful then you are.

Combining Wealthy Affiliate University, One Week Marketing and Unique Article Wizard will make you unstoppable in online marketing if you are willing to work hard and continue learning as you build your empire.
